City Tested Chelsea, Liverpool Opportunities Overtake Again
City just returned to the top of the Premier League after a 2-0 win over Everton on Thursday (02/07/2019) early morning hrs. The Citizens collected 62 points from 26 matches, winning on goal difference over Liverpool which had just played 25 matches.
After passing Everton, City have been waiting for the next exam from Chelsea. The Blues have broken through the top four following a 5-0 victory over Huddersfield Town last week.
In head-to-head, City only won twice over Chelsea in the last five duel in the Premier League. While Chelsea recorded three wins in that pace.

But Chelsea were not supported by a good record at the Etihad Stadium. In the last nine trips to City headquarters in the Premier League event, Chelsea only won twice (D1 L6).
