There is Competition between Lingard and Rashford Behind the Awakening of MU
Manchester - Jesse Lingard claimed to make a personal duel with Marcus Rashford. There are targets set by both of them to improve the performance of individuals and teams.
Lingard scored three goals and two assists in nine MU matches in the Solskjaer era. Rashford is more productive by packing six goals and one assist.
The number of goals is one of the targets set by both. The goal is to challenge yourself and also help the team get results that are okay.

Not just goals targeted by Lingard and Rashford. Both have also set the target of achieving the number of shots to how many times can create opportunities.
"Marcus and I have set targets for each other, to challenge ourselves. I will not say the amount because then everyone will know," Lingard was quoted as saying by Sky Sport.
"Obviously the target is different, maybe in certain matches how many shots, or how many touches are made in the game," he continued.
"It's just random things that are different, just to make us think and to encourage each other, because I also want to see successful friends," he said.
